I am not somebody nor I am nobody.
All I ever wanted is to make the world a better place for everyone to live in.
No, I am not trying to please people.
It's just... I believe in humanity; treating others with kindness, treating 'em right.
And I want to keep continue doing this.
I need someone or something to keep on reminding me how wonderful my life is
and how I need to be constantly grateful with what Allah has given.
As a mere human as I am,
I humbly say "Thank you Allah" :)

We are indeed the very hardcore racists ever exist.

Erhu

I guess my love for traditional music has no boundaries. I picked up Erhu after playing Gamelan for few years. I've always wanted to learn to play Chinese instrument, either Yangqin, Zheng or Erhu. Lucky me, my music theory teacher offered and willing to teach us (me and my classmates) Violin and Erhu. And of course I picked the second one, Erhu. Bought the cheapest Erhu we could get at RM300 something.

Learning Erhu is not as hard as Violin because it only has 2 strings and the solfège name and the numbers are fixed. The fact that it uses 'number system' just like in Gamelan makes it easier for me to learn. If you are not familiar with music notes, you will probably understand my feeling dealing with it. Dealing with music notes is more or less like dealing with a picky woman. Complicated. *as for me*

Currently, I'm trying to grasp the basic of Erhu. As long as I get the basic, everything else will fall into its place :)

You are weird. I like you.

New Tumblr

My analogue pictures have new home now. I deleted the old one and made a new account of Tumblr *because the previous one looks so serabut*. Ever since I have Pinterest account, I abandoned Tumblr. I find Pinterest is more effective in my searching-for-some-inspiration hobby *is it a hobby?*. Be it photography, design, recipes or home deco. Moreover, you can arrange/put/add the posts you like into specific folders *nice!* And I no longer upload pictures (analogue) on Lomohomes since I rarely use Lomo camera nowadays. No money to buy slide film as it is getting more 'unreasonably' expensive and I have lost interest to join the rumble competition and no longer care about Piggy Point. So, I switched to SLR as an alternative. Besides, I have this huge box of negative films given by a friend of mine *thank you* No matter how many films I have used, the amount doesn't seem to reduce. LOL. I should go out often and take more pictures.

The mountain is calling, your wild adventure is waiting.

Standing in front of a creature
called 'human',
Having mixed feelings of
how I should act and react,
He seems uncertain,
like a future of mine,
Can he be trusted?

Me and my trust issues. I'm not saying all of them are bad, but not everyone is good either. The torn feeling I get whenever I'm in the situation of 'should-I-trust-or-should-I-not' is definitely making me feel uneasy, every single time. But still, a decision has to be made. A very tough one.

Julian Bialowas and how I get inspired.

I first discovered Julian when I was browsing through the net for some pictures of mountains. I somehow came across his 365q tumblr page. It was his 365 quotes project written perfectly well on landscape pictures. They are both inspiring and encouraging. What I like about him the most is that he still using analogue camera and owns Minolta 7s (a rangefinder camera) and Nikon EM (SLR). And he is a hiker too!
